RESOLUTION NO. 2002-076 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF OF POLICE TO <br />EXECUTE A GRANT AWARD AGREEMENT WITH THE <br />CALIFORNIA OFFICE OF TRAFFIC SAFETY <br /> <br />CLS: 09/25/02 <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. The City Council of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines and <br />declares as follows: <br /> <br />The Santa Ana Police Department has been selected to receive a grant <br />from the California Office of Traffic Safety in the amount of $140,500.00. <br /> <br />Grant funding is for the purchase and implementation of a Hand-Held <br />Citation, Collision, and DUI Report-Writing Data Management Project. <br /> <br /> Section 2. The City Council authorizes the Chief of Police to execute a grant <br />award agreement with the California Office of Traffic Safety in the amount of <br />$140,500.00. <br /> <br /> Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by <br />the City Council, and the Clerk of the Council shall attest to and certify the vote adopting <br />this Resolution. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 7th day of October, 2002. <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />Joseph W.
