RESOLUTION NO. 2002-080 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING SITE PLAN REVIEW NO. 2002-06 TO CONSTRUCT A SINGLE FAMILY DEVELOPMENT AND A CATHEDRAL PARISH WITHIN ARMSTRONG RANCH LOCATED WITHIN SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT ZONE NO. 4 (SD-4) kdo-09/30/02 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: Section 41-593.5(c) of the Santa Ana Municipal Code requires a review by the Planning Commission of all plans within a specific development plan area to ensure the project is in conformity with the Specific Development Plan. The zoning designation for the subject property is Specific Development Plan No. 4 (SD-4). Site Plan Review No. 2002-06 came before the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana on September 23, 2002, and the Planning Commission by a vote of 5:1 (Leo opposing, Richardson absent) to recommend to the City Council of the City of Santa Ana to approve Site Plan Review No. 2002-06. The City Council of the City of 'Santa Ana held a duly noticed public headng on October 7, 2002 on Site Plan Review. No. 2002-06. Shea Homes is requesting to construct a 156 unit single family development and the Diocese of Orange is requesting approval to construct a 2,650 seat cathedral padsh. The proposed project is in compliance with all applicable development standards including the General 'Plan, Santa Ana Municipal Code, the Subdivision Ordinance and the Armstrong Ranch Specific Development Plan No. 4 (SD-4). The proposed project is in keeping with the surrounding neighborhood and will improve the desirability of investment in the City of Santa Ana. H.
