RESOLUTION NO. 2002-081 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO NAME THE ENTRY STREET TO THE ARMSTRONG RANCH RESIDENTIAL PROJECT Kdo 9/26/02 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: Street Naming No. 2002-01 came before the City Council of the City of Santa Ana for a public hearing on October 7, 2002. The Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana held a duly noticed public hearing on September 23, 2002, on Street Naming No. 2002-01 and voted by a vote of 6:0 (Richardson absent) that the City Council approve Street Naming No. 2002-01. The Planning Commission and City Council of the City of Santa Ana took into consideration the policy guidelines contained in Santa Ana Municipal Code Section 33-6. This project is located on a portion of the Armstrong Ranch. The street name was selected to portray the histodc characteristics of the open ranch space owned by the Armstrong Family. The street name Armstrong Ranch Road was selected for the entry street. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana certified Environmental Impact Report No. 00-01 and approved the mitigation monitoring program and statement of overriding considerations for Armstrong Ranch by resolution at a hearing held this same day. Section 2. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby, approves Armstrong Ranch Road as the entry street of the Armstrong Ranch Project as identified in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein. Section 3. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana takes no action at this time with regards to the other street names recommended by the Planning Commission. ADOPTED this 7th day of October, 2002.
