RESOLUTION NO. 2002-085 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 93-054 <br />REGARDING THE HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION <br />AND APPROVING AMENDED BYLAWS OF THE <br />COMMISSION <br /> <br />10/22/02LS <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines and <br />declares as follows: <br /> <br />The City Council re-established the Human Relations Commission <br />("Commission") by Resolution 93-054, which superseded Resolution 84- <br />99 and included Resolution No. 92-101 therewithin; <br /> <br />The Commission now desires to amend and update those certain Sections <br />contained in Resolution No. 93-054 which contain outdated reference with <br />regard to primary staff support and number of meetings. <br /> <br />The primary staff support has been, and currently is provided by the <br />Recreation and Community Services Agency. The primary staff support <br />shall now be provided to the Commission by the Community Development <br />Agency. <br /> <br />The Community Development Agency staff shall provide primary staff <br />support to the Commission, including but not limited to: being responsible <br />for the preparation of agendas, study reports, attendance at meetings, <br />organizing meetings, supplying materials requested by the Commission, <br />clerical support, preparation of an annual budget and other matters that <br />may from time to time be mutually agreed upon between Commission and <br />staff. <br /> <br /> Section 2: The City Council hereby authorizes the Community Development <br />Agency to provide the pdmary staff support to the Commission, and all references <br />contained in Resolution 93-054 to the "Recreation and Community Services Agency" be <br />amended to state the "Community Development Agency". <br /> <br /> Section 3' Other than the changes discussed herein, Resolution 93-054 shall <br />remain in full force and effect. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2002-085 <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
