RESOLUTION NO. 2002-101 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE <br />GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD IN SAID CITY ON <br />NOVEMBER 5, 2002 <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines <br />and declares as follows: <br /> <br />Pursuant to the Charter of the City of Santa Ana, a general municipal <br />election was held in the City of Santa Ana on November 5, 2002, to fill the <br />office of Mayor of said City and offices of members of the City Council of <br />said City nominated from Wards 2, 4, and 6 of the City <br /> <br />That the results of the said election, including the whole number of votes <br />cast in the City, the names of the persons voted for, for what office each <br />person was voted for, and the number of votes given in the City to each <br />person, are set forth in that certain document attached hereto as Exhibit A <br />and incorporated herein by this reference as though fully set forth. <br /> <br />That, based upon said results, Miguel A. Pulido is declared elected to the <br />office of Mayor of the City of Santa Ana to a two year term. <br /> <br />That, based upon said results, the following persons are declared elected <br />to the following respective offices, each to a four year term: <br /> <br />Lisa Bist, member of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana from <br />Ward 2. <br /> <br />Alberta D. Christy, member of the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana from Ward 4. <br /> <br />Mike Garcia, member of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br />from Ward 6. <br /> <br /> Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by <br />the City Council, and the Clerk of the Council shall attest to and certify the vote adopting <br />this Resolution. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2002-101 <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
