RESOLUTION NO. 2002-106 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO AMEND THE CURRENT ANNUAL BUDGET TO REALLOCATE ONE POSITION IN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The City Council hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: On June 17, 2002, the City Council passed and adopted Ordinance No. NS-2474, which establishes the City's Annual Budget, authorizing position allocations for Fiscal Year 2002-2003, and which sets forth the requirement that alterations in the allocation of authorized positions be reviewed and approved by the City Council. The Community Development Agency has completed an internal review of the grants management functions within the Agency, and has determined a need to more effectively meet the increasing management and monitoring responsibilities required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG) programs. The Executive Director of Community Development proposes that the currently vacant position of Community Development Technician be reallocated from its current classification title to the classification title of Management Aide (UC), which more accurately reflects the varied range of duties and responsibilities required of this position. It is now desired that the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2002-2003, as amended, be further amended in order to effect these changes.
