RESOLUTION NO. 2002-106 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA TO AMEND THE CURRENT ANNUAL <br />BUDGET TO REALLOCATE ONE POSITION IN THE <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: <br /> <br />On June 17, 2002, the City Council passed and adopted Ordinance No. <br />NS-2474, which establishes the City's Annual Budget, authorizing position <br />allocations for Fiscal Year 2002-2003, and which sets forth the <br />requirement that alterations in the allocation of authorized positions be <br />reviewed and approved by the City Council. <br /> <br />The Community Development Agency has completed an internal review of <br />the grants management functions within the Agency, and has determined <br />a need to more effectively meet the increasing management and <br />monitoring responsibilities required by the U.S. Department of Housing <br />and Urban Development for the Community Development Block Grant <br />(CDBG) and Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG) programs. <br /> <br />The Executive Director of Community Development proposes that the <br />currently vacant position of Community Development Technician be <br />reallocated from its current classification title to the classification title of <br />Management Aide (UC), which more accurately reflects the varied range <br />of duties and responsibilities required of this position. <br /> <br />It is now desired that the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2002-2003, as <br />amended, be further amended in order to effect these changes. <br /> <br /> Section 2: That the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2002-2003, as amended, be <br />further amended by reallocating one (1) position as shown below: <br /> <br />6-step Salary Rate Range Effective December 16, 2002 <br /> <br />FROM <br />.Class Title <br />Community Development <br />Technician <br /> <br />TO <br />Class Title <br />Management Aide (UC) <br /> <br />Salary Rate Annual Salary <br />Range No. {Min-Max) <br /> <br />568 $40,020-$51,084 <br /> <br />Salary Rate <br />Ranoe No. <br />590 <br /> <br />Annual Salary <br />(Min-Max) <br />$44,520-$56,892 <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2002-106 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
