It is the obligation of CONTRACTOR to provide notice of the <br />insurance requirements to every subcontractor, and to receive proof of <br />insurance prior to allowing any subcontractor to begin work. Such proof of <br />insurance must be maintained by CONTRACTOR through the entirety of this <br />Agreement for inspection by County representative(s) at any reasonable time. <br /> <br /> 12.4 All insurance policies required by this Agreement shall declare <br />any deductible or self-insured retention (SIR) in an amount in excess of <br />$25,000 ($5,000 for automobile liability), which shall specifically be <br />approved by the County Executive Office (CEO)/Office of Risk Management. <br />CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for reimbursement of any deductible to the <br />insurer. Any self-insured retentions (SIRs) or deductibles shall be clearly <br />stated on the Certificate of Insurance. <br /> <br /> 12.5 If CONTRACTOR fails to maintain insurance acceptable to COUNTY for <br />the full term of this Agreement, COUNTY may terminate this Agreement. <br /> <br /> 12.6 The policy or policies of insurance required herein must be issued <br />by an insurer licensed to do business in the State of California (California <br />Admitted Carrier). If the insurer is not licensed to do business in the State <br /> <br />of California, ADMINISTRATOR retains the right to approve or reject the <br />insurer after a review of the insurer's performance and financial ratings by <br />the County Executive Office (CEO)/Office of Risk Management. <br /> <br />(WSH0403) 17 of 37 <br /> <br /> <br />
