Financial records shall be retained, by <br />CONTRACTOR, for a minimum of four (4) years from the date of final payment <br />under this Agreement or until all pending COUNTY, State and Federal audits are <br />completed, whichever is later. <br /> <br /> 24.1.2 CONTRACTOR shall establish and maintain reasonable <br />accounting, internal control and financial reportin~ standards in conformity <br />with generally accepted accounting principles established by the American <br />Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and to the satisfaction of <br />ADMINISTRATOR. <br /> <br /> 24.2 Participant Records: <br /> <br /> 24.2,1 CONTRACTOR shall prepare and maintain accurate and <br />complete records of clients served, and dates and type of services provided <br />under the terms of this Agreement in a form acceptable to ADMINISTRATOR. <br /> <br /> 24.2,2 All client records related to services provided under the <br />terms of this Agreement shall be retained by CONTRACTOR for a minimum of four <br />(4) years from the date of final payment under this Agreement or until all <br />pending COUNTY, State and Federal audits are completed, whichever is later, <br /> <br />Notwithstanding anything to the contrary. <br />CONTRACTOR shall relinquish control with <br />in accordance with Subparagraph 37,2, <br /> <br />upon termination of this Agreement, <br />respect to client records to COUNTY <br /> <br /> 24.2,3 COUNTY may refuse payment for a claim if client records <br />are determined by COUNTY to be incomplete or inaccurate, In the event client <br />records are determined to be incomplete or inaccurate after payment has been <br />made, COUNTY may treat such payment as an overpayment within the provisions of <br />this Agreement. <br /> <br /> 24.3 Inspections and Audits: <br /> <br /> 24.3.1 The Department of Health and Human Services, Comptroller <br />General of the United States, Director of the California Department of Social <br /> <br />(WSH0403) 28 of 37 <br /> <br /> <br />
