<br />The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 217 North
<br />Main Street. Roll call was answered by Councilmen R~yal E. Hubbard, Harry H.
<br />Harvey, James Gilmore, Henry H. Schlueter, and Mayor A. Allen Hall. Following
<br />the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, the Invocation was delivered by the
<br />Reverend Garland Lacey, Wilshire Presbyterian Church.

<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard,
<br />seconded by Councilm-~ Narvey and
<br />carried, the Minutes of the Re~Alar
<br />Meeting of October 19, 1964 were
<br />approved as mailed.

<br />BID AWARD -

<br />RADIO UNITS
<br />
<br />The City Manager reported that the
<br />low bidder for eight Police Radio
<br />Units, Spec. 65~-8, did not meet
<br />specifications. On motion of
<br />
<br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by CounciLman Schlueter and carried, Council
<br />ordered filed report of bids received; approved award of contract at unit
<br />prices to Radio Corporation of America; and rejected all other bids.

<br />carried, Council ordered filed report
<br />of bids received for four Pickup
<br />Trucks, Spec. 621-~7; approved award of contract to George Dunton Ford, Inc.,
<br />in the amount of $6,838.79; and rejected all other bids.

<br />east side of Bristol between Memory ?~e and the Garden Grove Freeway. Planning
<br />C~ission Resolution 5697 recommended denial. The Clerk repurted that a
<br />letter in favor of the application had been received fro~Myers Brothers
<br />Construction Company, Los Angeles, and the following letters received were in

<br />Marshall To~d, 12872 Woodbury Drive, Orange, representing the applicant, stated
<br />that those opposing the amendment may not understand the plans, amd requested
<br />that if the Council is not prepared to give zoning change, that it consider
<br />continuing the hearing till al~ter the first of the year. Mayor Hall asked how
<br />many were in opposition and approximately 25 hands were raised.
