Prepare <br /> estimates, schedules, budgets, and coordinate work with various disciplines. <br /> Conduct meetings, prepare minutes and assure completion of action items. Negotiate <br /> project scope changes and prepare closeout documentation. <br /> <br />Engineering Design <br /> Specialize in the design of: <br /> -substations rated 230kV and below. <br /> -underground distribution and cable systems rated 230kV and below. <br /> -generating facilities; overhead transmission systems rated up to 230kV. <br /> -electrical distribution and control systems for processing and manufacturing <br /> facilities including petro-chemlcal, pharmaceutical, food, optical, <br /> plastics, furniture, and coating. <br /> -systems for theme parks, entertainment installations, and institutions such <br /> as hospitals, research centers and universities. <br /> Perform power systems analysis. Prepare a wide variety of studies including short <br /> circuit, coordination, load flow, transient disturbance, load survey and grounding. <br /> Conduct research of standards and codes to define design parameters, determine code <br /> compliance and prepare specifications. <br /> <br />Inspection <br /> Responsible for direct and indirect inspection of installed electrical facilities rated up <br /> to 230kV, classified as hazardous or non-hazardous, and ranging in type from petro- <br /> chemical to clean room installations. Managed the electrical inspection effort <br /> performed by a ieam of engineers for various oil and gas processing facilities with <br /> project valuations totaling over $5 billion. Perform the duties required by the <br /> Authority Having Jurisdiction, including code interpretation. <br /> <br /> <br />
