AG~ - On motic~a of cOUncilman Hubbard, <br />SIGN E~ROAC~ME~T seconded by Councilman Schlueter <br /> and carried, CoUncil authorized <br /> execution of an agreement with <br />E~cell-Ad Electric Signs~ smd Gillette Cafeteria~ Inc., regarding electric sig~ <br />at 1~30 W. 17th. <br /> <br />17th STR~£ ON RAMP On motion of CoUncilman HUbbard, <br /> seconded by Councd lw~ Schlueter <br /> and carried, the City Council <br /> authorized executiGn of Superseding <br />Agreement No. 1610 with the California Department of Public Works regarding the <br />revision of the 17th Street on Ram~ to the Santa Aha Freeway. <br /> <br /> - On motion of ubb , <br />NEWPORT FREEWAY seconded by Councils-- Schlueter <br /> and carried, Council authorized <br /> execution of an agreement with <br />the State of California for relocation of water meters and services on Warner <br />to clear proposed sewer installation in connection with conamruction of Newport <br />Freeway. <br /> <br />CAR STORAGE The City Manager reported that an <br /> investigation regarding illegal <br /> use of lots along Washington <br /> Avenue for storage of cars, as <br />noted in a letter frc~ Joseph A. Mueller, supported the cc~plaint$ and that <br />the City Attormey had ~een instructed to take appropriate action to enforce <br /> <br />the City Ordinance. <br />CROSSING GUARD <br /> <br />The Manager asked for postponement <br />of his report regarding request for <br />crossing guard at Greenville and <br />St. Gertrude submitted by Mrs. Jack <br />A. Long~ecker, stating that NO PARKING signs have been installed and notices <br />have beech sent t° property owners to remove encroachments from public right of <br />ways. 0~ motion of Councilman ~bbard, seconded by Co~L~ci)~a~ Schlueter and <br />carried, Council continued the matter until the meeting of December 7, 196~. <br /> <br />HIGH SCHOOL TRAFFIC On motion of CoUnciLman Hubbard, <br />~ seconded by Councilman Schlueter <br /> and carried, Council postponed <br /> until the meeting of December 7, <br />196~ a rePort~ regarding request by Dr. Walter T. Flaherty for no parking <br />on Flower between S:O0 and 6:OO p.m. <br /> <br />SIGNAL On motion of CoUncilman Hubbard, <br /> seconded by Counc~lma~ Schlueter <br /> and carried, Council postponed <br /> until the meeting of December 7, <br />196~, a report regarding request from Garden Grove Elementary School District <br />for a signal at intersection of Fairview and Trask. <br /> <br />CROSSING GUARD The City Manager reviewed the analysis <br /> of crossing guard warrants pertaining <br /> to the intersection of Flower Street <br /> and 15th, in answer to a petition <br />submitted by Mrs. C. Maly for a crossing guard at this corner; and recommended <br />denial because warrants were not met.
