MUi~AL AID On motion of Councilman Nu~bar~, seconded <br /> by Councilm-n Harvey and carried, Council <br /> referred to City Attorney and Manager <br /> for study and recommendation, agreements <br />for mutual fire protection with County of Orange and various cities. <br /> <br />by Council=-~ Harvey and carried, Council <br />authorized execution of a mutual agreement <br />with the County of Orange for employment <br />of architect for la, out and design of the Civic Center, with the City of Santa <br />Aaa participating by one-half of cost up to a maximum of $15,000. <br /> <br />AUCTION REGULATIONS <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded <br />by Councilman Harvey and carried, <br />consideration of report regarding Phil <br />Hanson's request for change in auction <br />regulations was continued to January ~, 1964. <br /> <br />APPEAL iN - The Planning Director reported regarding <br />HALL Appeal 1~8 filed by Clarence ~L. Hall <br /> frc~ the Planning Commission's denial of <br /> Variance Application 1999 to construct <br />37 four unit apartments with less than required front and side yard setbacks <br />in A 1 and C 1 districts at 317 N. Euclid, stating that all points of difference <br />had been resolve~ except the number of units. The Planning C.-~mission recmmaended <br />approval subject to certain conditions. <br /> <br />On motto~, of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Harvey and carried, <br />Council over~.,led the original action of the Pl=--ing C~mmission gnd instructed <br />the City Attorney to prepare a resolution approving Variance 1999, subject to <br />conditions outlined in the planning C~w.atssion's revised report dated December 16, <br /> <br />PRE. REC. OF SURVE~ 384 On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded <br /> by Councilm-~ Schlueter and carried, <br /> C~ucil approved Preliminary Record of <br /> Survey 38~ filed by Security Fore Corporation <br />creating three C 2, R 4 and R 1 parcels south of Warner, west of Bristol, subject <br />to the conditions outlined in the Planning Director's report dated December 1~, <br /> <br />PRE. REC. OF SURVE"f 381 <br /> <br />PreliminaryRecord of Survey ~81was filed <br />by C. Rowland Flagg, creatingthree C 5 <br />parcels at the southwest corner of Edinger <br />and Pacific. <br /> <br />Luigi Salvaneschi, 24202 Stanford, submitted a letter from Dr. C. Rowland Flagg, <br />requesting that the alley rec~ended by the Planning Department be constructed <br />from Pacific Street for only 143.78 feet. The Planning Director stated that <br />Con~lition D (1) as revised in his report would make this acc~--,odation. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard~ seconded hy Councilman Harvey and carried, the <br />letter was ordered filed and Preliminary Record of Survey 381 was approved, <br />subject to the conditions outlined in the planning Director's report dated <br />December 2, 196~, with Condition D (1) revised to read as follows: "That a 20 <br />foot alley easement be dedicated aud improved to City standard atongthe entire <br />south boundary of the most easterly parcel as shown on the preliminary <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />- 133 - <br /> <br />December 21, 1964 <br /> <br /> <br />
