hardscapes, sidewalks, trails, street medians, fixtures, and appurtenant <br />facilities within public right-of-ways, parkways, city building grounds, and <br />designated easements; <br /> <br />A portion of the costs for the maintenance of park or recreational <br />improvements including but not limited to sports fields, lighting playground <br />equipment, play courts, landscaping, ornamental structures and public <br />restrooms, in public right-of,ways, parkway, s, parks, city building grounds, <br />and designated easements; <br /> <br />A portion of the costs associated with cleaning, sandblasting, and painting <br />of walls, or other improvements to remove or cover graffiti. <br /> <br />A portion of the costs for the maintenance of streets, roads or highways <br />including but not limited to pavement repair and rehabilitation, re-striping, <br />slurry sealing, and other services necessary to preserve the pavement life <br />and improve the flow of traffic. <br /> <br /> Section 4. The District proposed to be formed shall be coterminous with the <br />boundaries of the City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br /> Section 5. The Executive Director of the City of Santa Aha Public Works <br />Agency shall cause to be prepared by a qualified assessment engineer, and when <br />completed to be filed and presented to this City Council, a report (the "Engineer's <br />Report"), prepared in accordance with the City Assessment Code. <br /> <br /> Section 6. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by <br />the City Council, and the Clerk of the Council shall attest to and certify the vote adopting <br />this Resolution. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 21st day of April, 2003. <br /> <br /> Migu..el-~.
