<br />The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 217 N.
<br />Main Street. Roll call was answered by Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Harry H.
<br />Harvey, James Gilmore, Henry H. Schlueter, and Mayor A. Allen Hall. Following
<br />the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, the Invocation was delivered by the
<br />Reverend Bill Weeda~ Camile Christian Church.

<br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES

<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard,
<br />seconded by Councilman Schlueter
<br />and carried, Council approved as
<br />mailed the Minutes of the Regular
<br />Meeting of December 21, 196~.
<br />
<br />BID AWARD - On motion of Councilman Hubbard,
<br />WATER PIPE seconded by Councilman Schlueter
<br /> and carried, Council ordered
<br /> filed a report of bids received
<br />for 18" water transmission pipe for placement in Segerstrom, B~-istol to Flood
<br />Control Channel, Spec. 481-28; approved award of the contract to Southern
<br />Pipe and Casing Company at unit price; and rejected all other bids.
<br />
<br />BID AWARD - On motion of Councilmau Hubbard,
<br />WATER WELLS seconded by Councilm-~ Schlueter
<br /> and carried, Council ordered filed
<br /> a report of bids received for
<br />construction of Water Wells 23, 22 and 25 in the northwest area of the city,
<br />Spe¢o 64-2; approved award of the contract to Water Well Supply at unit price;
<br />and rejected all other bids.

<br /> Amendment Application 512 filed by
<br /> C. W. Todd to amend Sectional
<br />District Map 36-4-10 by reclassifying from A 1 to C ~ district property on
<br />the east side of Bristol between Memory Lane and Garden Grove Freeway.
<br />
<br />The Clerk reported that a communication from the applicant had been received
<br />which discussed the possibility of financial backing by an eastern investment
<br />group; and that letters in opposition to the rezoning had been received from
