It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Councilm-u Schlueter, that Council <br />approve the reclassification and instruct the City Attorney to prepare au amending <br />ordinance according to Exhibit A.A. 512-B. DIST. 221 <br /> <br />Mayor Hall opened the hearing on <br />proposal to include certain additiOnal <br />territory in Assessment District 221 <br />as proposed in.Resolution 6~-185 <br />adopted December 7, 1~6~. The Clerk submitted Affidavit of Publication of <br />Resolution 6~-185; Certificate of Nail!n~=, Resolution 6~-185; and Written Consent <br />of contractor to the change. On' motion of Counci1,~ Gilmore, seconded by Council- <br />man Hubbard and carried, Council ordered the documents filed. <br /> <br />Franklin T. Hamilton, Special Counsel for the City, explained the purpose of the <br />hearing and described two parcels proposed for inclusion at the northwest corner <br />of McFadden and Newhope. The Public Works Director indicated Parcels 57 and 58 <br />on the map, stating that there had been an existing sewer in McFadden into which <br />Parcel 57 could be drained but that Parcel 58 could not be drained into the <br />McFadden sewer. Mr. Hamilton therefore recommended that the Council adopt a <br />resolution including the smaller parcel on Newhope and excluding the larger <br />parcel at the latereection of McFadden and Newhope from Assessment District 221. <br /> <br />Dale Eeinl~, 611 W. 8th, attorney representing Joseph Serna, ~wner of Parcel 57, <br />agreed to its exclusion. The Clerk reported that no written protests had been <br />filed. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Councilman <br />Harvey and carried, Council instructed Mr. Hamilton to prepare a resolution <br />authorizing payment of $~,256.06 for off site sewer, being a contribution against <br />the project as a whole. <br /> <br />NEARING - Mayor Hall opened the hearing on <br />STREET VACATION Resolution of Intention 6~-195 to <br /> vacate a portion of Edinger Avenue <br /> at the southwest corner of Flower <br />and Edinger.
