RESOLUTION NO. 2003-051 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA TO EXECUTE A GRANT AWARD <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE CALIFORNIA OFFICE OF <br />TRAFFIC SAFETY <br /> <br />Lss05/30/03 <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. The City Council of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines and <br />declares as follows: <br /> <br />The Santa Ana Police Department has been selected to receive a grant <br />from the California Office of Traffic Safety in the amount of $275,000.00. <br /> <br />Grant funding is for the purchase and implementation of a Mobile DUI and <br />Driving Simulation Classroom Project. <br /> <br /> Section 2. The City Council authorizes the Chief of Police to execute a grant <br />award agreement with the California Office of Traffic Safety in the amount of <br />$275,000.00. <br /> <br /> Section 3.
