RESOLUTION NO. 2003-053 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CiTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE CORRECTION OF <br />VESTING FOR PREVIOUSLY RECORDED PROPERTIES <br /> <br />5/28/03 LES <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby, finds, determines <br />and declares as follows: <br /> <br />The City and the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana <br />("Agency") purchase properties for different purposes using different funding <br />sources; and <br /> <br />Occasionally the funding source may be from the redevelopment or Iow- <br />moderate income housing fund, however the title has been found to be vested <br />in the name of the City rather than the Agency; <br /> <br />Likewise, general fund money may have been spent by the City in the <br />acquisition of property and the title is incorrectly listed as vesting in the name <br />of the Agency. <br /> <br />D. As long as proper documentation exists evidencing the funding source, staff <br /> should be authorized to take necessary steps to correct the title. <br /> <br /> Section 2. The City Manager, on behalf of the City of Santa Ana, and the <br />Executive Director of the Community Redevelopment Agency, on behalf of the Agency, <br />or their respective designees (the "Parties") are hereby authorized to execute such <br />documents that are required to be signed by the Parties in connection with the <br />correction of the vesting of title to match the source of funding. <br /> <br /> Section 3.
