The meeting was reconvened at <br />8:~0 p.m. with all Councilmen present. <br /> <br /> /3 <br />~W2AI~INS - <br />APPEAL 15~ - VoAo 2068 <br /> <br />cOUnci1,""- Gilmore was disqualified from <br />discussion and action in this matter because <br />of a conflict of interest, end left the <br />Council table. <br /> <br />May~r Hall opened the hearing on Appeal 15~ filed by Arthur E. Neeb from the <br />Planning Cca~aissi~n's denial of Variance Applicati~u 20~ to construct <br />additians to a nomconfor~tnS equi~ent rental yard in the C 1 district at <br />21~0 South Main. <br /> <br />The Clerk reported that notice of the hearing was mailed to a~Jacent property <br />~wners c~ January 26, 1965 as required by law, an~ that no cnw~unications <br />had been received. <br /> <br />George Snedgrass, 2128 S. Sycamore, asked for explanation of the appeal, after <br />which he stated he would not be affected. <br /> <br />Roy June, 1801 Newport B~ulevard, Costa Mesa, representing the applicant, <br />reviewed the applicatian, end requested approval without all the thi~ceem <br />conditions recc~aaem~ed By the staff, ~hich he felt too severe.
