MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA AMA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />February 15, 1965 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 217 North <br />Main Street. Roll call was answered by Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Harry H. <br />Harvey, James Gilmore, Henry H. Schlueter, and Mayor A. Allen Hall. Following <br />the Pledge of Allegismce to the Flag, the Invocatio~ was delivered by Captain <br />H. B~oughton of the Salvation Army. <br /> <br />APPROVAL 0FMIND~fES <br /> <br />On motion of Councilw~n Hubbard, seceded <br />by Councilman Schlueter and carried, <br />Council approved as mailed the Minutes <br />of the Regular Macring of Februaz-y 1, 1965. <br /> <br />BID AWARD - On motion of CouncilmA~ Hubbard, seconded <br />PROJ. 146 by Counci]w=~ Schlueter and carried, <br /> Council ordered filed a report of bids <br /> received for construction of McFadden <br />from Harbor to Mohawk, Project 1~6; approved award of contract to R. J. Noble <br />Company at unit prices; and rejected all other bids. <br /> <br />BID AWARD - On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded <br />BRUSH CHIPPER by Counc]lm-- Schlueter and carried, <br /> Council ordered filed a report of bids <br /> received for one brush chipper, trailer <br />mounted, Spec. 652-9; approved award of contract to The Agricultural Machinery <br />Company, Incorporated for a net cost of $2,697.76; and rejected all other bids. <br /> <br />BID AWARD - On motion of Councilm~n Hubbard, seconded <br />AIR COMPRESSORS by Councilman Schlueter and carried, <br /> Council ordered filed a report of bids <br /> received for two air compressors, Spec. <br />623-2~; approved award of c~tract to Blystone Equipment Company at a net cost <br />of $6,200; and rejected all other bids. <br /> <br />~G - A.A. 5~3 Mayor Hall opened the hearing on Amendment <br />R~IEW HOSPITAL Application 533 filed by Riverview Hospital, <br /> Incorporated to amend Sectional District <br /> Map 2-5-10 by reclassifying from the R 1 <br />to the C 1 district, property on the east side of Fairview between Edna Drive <br />end Westminster. Planning C~ission Resolution 571~ recommended approval of <br />Exhibit AA 533 B, reclassifying from R 1 to the LP district. <br /> <br />The Clerk reported that notice of the hearing was published in The Register on <br />January 16, t965 and that no written communications or objections had been <br />received° James Don, representing the applicant, stated he was available if <br />there were questions.
