Roll call was answered by Councilmen James Gilmore, Walter <br />Brooks, Wade Herrin, Tc~ Mc~ichael, and M~yor Harry E. Harvey. Councilmen <br />Davis Burk and J. O~len Markel were absent, but arrived later. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF M~TES <br /> <br />On moticm of Councilman Gilmore, seconded <br />by Councilman Br~oks and carried, Council <br />approved the Minutes of the Regular <br />Meeting of April 5, 1965. <br /> <br />Councilmen Burk and Markel arrived at 2:02 p.m. <br /> <br />BID AWAI~) - Councilman Gilmore asked that he be <br />CONCESSIONS disqualified from actiou on this awar~ <br /> and left the Council table. On motion of Councilman Markel, seconded hy CouncilmanBrooks and <br />carried, Council ordered filed the report of bids received; approved award <br />of contract to Proctor & Webb; and rejected all other bids. <br /> <br />BID :AWAED - Couacilm-~ Gilmore returned to the Ce~ncil <br />PROJECT C-121 table. On motion of Councilman Brooks, <br /> seconded by C~uncilm-~ Herrin and carried, <br /> Council ordered filed report of bids <br />received for Project 0-121, construction of Alton Street from Main to Halladay; <br />an~ construction of Halladay from Alton to Iryer Road; approved awar~ of contract <br />to Boeck Pavt-=_ Ce~pan~ at unit prices bid; and rejected all other bids. <br /> <br />ORD.
