Motion: <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />owners to file their ballots if they have not done so, or to change their <br />ballots if they previously voted. <br /> <br />The following members of the public addressed the Council in opposition <br />to the proposed creation of a maintenance assessment district: Sharon <br />Yates, Justin Thomas, Donald Rogers, Jose Aguevegue, Ricci Zukerman, <br />Ben Grabiel, Teri Sprague, Howard O. Kieffer, Glen Stroud, Larry Day, <br />and A. Jacques; Desi Reyes spoke in support of the proposed <br />assessment district. <br /> <br />The Mayor closed the public hearing and announced that all balloting <br />would cease. <br /> <br />Council discussion ensued. <br /> <br />Direct the Clerk of the Council to tabulate the ballots and return with <br />the results for certification by the City Council at the meeting of July <br />21, 2003. <br /> <br />MOTION: AIvarez <br /> <br />SECOND: Garcia <br /> <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br /> <br />Alvarez, Bist, Christy, Garcia, Pulido, Solorio <br />(6) <br />Franklin (1) <br /> <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br /> <br />COUNCIL RECESSED AT 8:18 P.M.
