filed Report 24-65 regarding fixtures purchased in connection with Well Site 12, <br />declared the property surplus and authorized disposition by the Manager. <br /> <br />PIte~A'ICE PABK ZOO On motion of Cou~cilma~ Gilmore, <br /> seconded by Coullcilm"n ]~Ark and <br /> carried, Council approved joint <br /> Chamber of Commerce report regarding <br />the Prentice Park Zoo and directed cosmittee to proceed with further develol~nent <br />of a specific program, and recomnnendation to'COUncil.for action. <br /> <br />GENERAL PLAN Not~-~= that the General Plan <br /> Program is now three months behin~ <br /> schedule amd that it should be <br /> completed as rapidlF as possible, <br />Counc~!~n Gilmore moved the Council adopt a Minute Order statA-g the Council's <br />desire that the schedule for completion proposed by the Planning Director on <br />April 28, 1965 be met. <br /> <br />The Planning Director asked if the directive would also appl~ to the hearings <br />before the Planning Commission. Counc~lma~ Gilmore replied the Council was more <br />concerned with cc~plation of work by the consultants o Seconded by Councilman <br />Burk, the motion was adopted and the Planning Director stated he would so <br />instruct the consultants. <br /> <br />~JS S~VICE The City _M~u-ger reported that he had <br /> received a telephone call from the <br /> Public Utilities C-w,,~ssi~n indicating <br /> that a telegram was being sent to the <br />Santa Aha - Garden Grove Bus ~.t-e directing them to discontinue all service over <br />their certificate~ route until insurance requirements were met; Stating also <br />that the c~any's insurance coverage for Santa ~a expired January 6~ 1965 and <br />the City was in Jeopardy until insurance was reinstated.
