MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />June 29, 1965 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, <br />217 North Main Street. Roll call was answered by Councilmen James <br />Gilmore, Walter L. Brooks, Davis Burk, Wade Herrin, J. Ogden <br />Markel, Tom McMichael, and Mayor Harry H. Harvey. <br /> <br />CLERK'S REPORT <br />1965-66 BUDGET <br /> <br />The Clerk reported that notice of the special <br />meeting had been mailed as required by law <br />and evidence thereto was on file. <br /> <br />The Mayor announced that the purpose of the <br />meeting was consideration of the proposed <br />budget for Fiscal Year 1965-66. On motion <br />of Councilman Brooks, seconded by Council- <br />man Burk and carried, Council adjourned to <br />the Mayor's office and heard the Acting City <br />Manager' s presentation of the proposed <br />budget. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 9:45 p.m. on <br />motion of Councilman Brooks, seconded by <br />Councilman Burk and carried. <br /> <br />bORIS M.
