PD j A�1 L <br />FIRST AMENDMENT TO <br />CONSULTANT AGREEMENT <br />N- 2002 -018 <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT, is entered <br />into on February _J&*� , 2002, by and between Martha Lomeli, hereinafter "Consultant <br />and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of <br />California, hereinafter "City ". <br />Recitals: <br />A. The parties entered into an Agreement dated August 24, 2000, hereinafter referred to <br />as "said Agreement ", by which Consultant has provided counseling and instructional <br />services to the inmates housed in the Santa Ana jail. <br />B. By letter dated May 30, 2001, the parties extended the term of said Agreement to <br />June 30, 2002. <br />C. The parties wish to amend said Agreement to provide additional compensation during <br />the extended term of said Agreement. <br />Wherefore, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and subject <br />to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this First <br />Amendment to Consultant Agreement, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. Section 2. a., shall be amended to increase the compensation $4,000.00. The total <br />sum to be expended under said Agreement shall not exceed $10,000.00 during the <br />term of said Agreement. <br />2. Except as hereinabove amended, all terms and conditions of said Agreement remain <br />unchanged. <br />
