SURPLUS PROPERTY On motion of Councilman Brooks, <br /> seconded by Councilman Burk and <br /> carried, Council ordered filed <br /> City Manager' s Surplus Property <br />Report 55-65 regarding irregular parcel south of McFadden, west of River, <br />declared the property surplus and of value only to adjacent owner because <br />shape precludes use as separate parcel, and authorized sale to adjacent <br />owner. <br /> <br />Del Michael, 917 S. Toland, asked that Council and staff notify Southwest <br />Homeowners Association of any surplus property in the area suitable for play- <br />ground purposes. <br /> <br />APPROPR~TION <br />ADJUSTMENT <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Markel, <br />seconded by Councilm~u McMichael <br />and carried, Council authorized <br />the transfer of $350 from Account <br />51-551 to Account 51-569. <br /> <br />STREET CLOSINGS Councilman Markel discussed the <br /> proposed closing of Talbert and <br /> Alton Streets and the effect on <br /> traffic from Huntington Beach. <br />The City Manager stated that an extensive report on the matter would be coming <br />to Council from the Planning Cnmmission. <br /> <br />HARBOR CLIPPINGS In response to a request from <br /> Councilman Markel that the Mayor <br /> instruct the Clerk to furnish him <br /> with two copies of Harbor District <br />clippings and material, Mayor Harvey stated he was certain the Clerk would <br />furnish information on any subject for any Councilman upon request. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />There being no further business to <br />come before the Council~ the meeting <br />was adjourned at 9:37 p.m., on <br />motion of Councilma~ McMichael, <br />seconded by Councilman B~rk and <br />carried. <br /> <br />DORIS M.
