Schilling <br />creating two parcels on the west side of Flower~ south of Santa Clara be <br />approved subject to conditions in the Planning Director's report dated <br />4-12-66, and that alley requirement be waived. <br /> <br />TEltT. PARCEL On Tentative Parcel Map 458~ <br />MAP ~58 Mr. Thomas Goeder, one of the <br />~ owners of the proper~y~ objected <br /> to condition in Paragraph E, <br />Item 4, of the Planning Director's report regarding a 33-inch reinforced <br />concrete pipe storm drain system be constructed across the entire frontage <br />of Tustin Avenue at the owners expense. It was moved by Councilman Brooks, <br />seconded by Councilman Markel and carried, that Tentative Parcel 458 filed <br />by Simon Waronker creating four parcels on the east side of Tustin, south <br />of 17th, be approved subject to conditions in Planning Director's report <br />dated ~-13-66. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER It was moved by Councilm~ Gilmore, <br />ABSENCE seconded by COunc~lmau Burk and <br />~? carried, that Council authorize <br /> City Manager to leave State at <br />City expense to interview candidates for Assistant City Manager. <br /> <br />INSTRUMENT LANDING Mr. Clifford Fraizer, 2049 S. <br />0. COUNTY AIRPORT Halladay presented his views on <br /> the Resolution of Santa Aha <br /> Republican Assembly regarding <br />instrument landing system at Orange County Airport. He presented charts <br />to Council indicating existing landing approaches, patterns for instrument <br />approaches and ceilings, and discussed hazards which exist for residents <br />near the Orange County Airport, requesting further study on these points. <br />Mayor Harvey asked Mr. Fraizer to draft a letter for him (with Council's <br />concurrence) to send to FAA requesting information. <br /> <br />SOLICITATION REQUESTS <br /> ?i <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Herrin, <br />seconded by Councilman Burk and <br />carried, that Council approve <br />the following solicitation requests: <br /> <br />Children's Hospital of Orange County to conduct candy sale during last <br />weeks of April and the month of May. <br /> <br />Orange County Association for Mentally Retarded Children telephone <br />ticket sale to variety show May 15 - August 15, 1966. <br /> <br />Orange County Assoc. for Mental Health, Bell Ringer solicitation <br />May 1 - May 31, 1966. <br /> <br />REGIONAL PLANNING ASSOC. It was moved by Councilman Herrin, <br /> ~ seconded by Councilman Burk and <br /> carried, that Council order filed <br /> request frem Los Angeles County <br />Board of Supervisors for support of Regional Planning and Development <br />Association. <br /> <br />REIMBURS~2~ENT It was moved by Councilman Herrin, <br /> ~ seconded by Councilman Burk and <br /> carried, that Council approve <br /> reimbursement to Klatt-Wilde <br />Development Company, 1943 E. 17th, $7,132.50 for cost in reconstructing <br />street improvements to ultimate width. <br />CITY COUNCIL - 513 - April 18, 1966 <br /> <br /> <br />
