EXHIBIT A <br />Scope of Work <br />Annual Accomplishment Goal <br />I. Number of unduplicated Santa Ana residents to be served with grant funds during the 12- <br />month contract period — <br />PERSONS <br />II. Description of Work - in space below, describe the program to be funded during the 12-month contract <br />period including, services to be provided, program goals, client characteristics, & how grant funds will be utilized. <br />WTLC will provide a motel shelter program for victims of domestic violence (regardless of <br />gender) and their children. Services include: advocacy (legal and social service), crisis <br />counseling, shelter placement, case management (resource and referral assistance), food, <br />clothing, transportation, and safety planning. Booklets are handed out to all clients which give <br />detailed information about domestic violence and available resources. Priority is given to law <br />enforcement and social service placements, but all clients are accepted as long as they are <br />victims of domestic violence. <br />The primary goal of this program is attaining immediate safety, then education about domestic <br />violence and available resources. Clients are made aware of the dynamics of domestic violence, <br />the likelihood that circumstances will not change, and the effects on children and others in the <br />home.
