C~a~cllman Markel read a report <br />of his tour of the Or--~e and <br />Fullerton City Hall l~cilities. <br /> <br />RECESS At 5:15 P.M.~ the meeting was <br /> recessed to 7:30 P.M. The meeting <br /> was reconvened at 7:30 P.M., with <br />all Councilmen present. Following the Pledge of Allegiance, the I~vocation was <br />delivered by the Revere~ S. Z. Henderson, Second ~aptist Church of Santa Aha. <br /> <br />APPEAL 181 Hearing was opened on Appeal 181, <br />ART m~u~ - VA 20~5 ~* filed ~y Ar~ Neeb, et al, from the <br /> pl~ing Cc~,.isslon's approval of <br /> VA 2095 for Hercules Construction <br />Company to construct 24 unit apartment building in R2B District with less than <br />required parking at 806 S. Cypress, continued fr~a 10-25-66. <br /> <br />Dale Heinly, attorney for the appella~ts~ ~rged denial of the variance because <br />of density; no exceptional circumstances or necessity; inadequate parktng; and <br />detrimental to area. <br /> <br />Harry Tancredi~ speaking on behalf of the variance applica2ian, stated he <br />had been trying to obtain a variance for the property for ~cme years; had <br />revised it ai~cer development of the General Plan, with less density; that <br />the property had been offered for sale at a reasonable price fo~ parking for <br />Main Street properties; that there was par~t-g in excess of requirement; that <br />no Cypress Street owners he~l ever objected.
