1 <br />M)tgTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br />December 5, 1966 <br />The meeting was called to order at 2100 P.M. in the Council Chamber, 217 <br />N. Main Street, Roll Call was answered by Councilmen Walter BTookso Davis <br />Burk, Wade Herrin, Tom McMichael and Mayor Harry H. Harvey. cQnncilman <br />Jf Ogden Markel was absent. Councilman James Gilmore arrived at 202 P,M. <br />Also present were City Manager Carl 'J. Thornton, City Attorney WilUsm L, <br />Mock, Director of Public Works Ronald Wolford, Director of Planaing:Paui <br />Van Stevens, and Clerk of the Council Doris M. Brown. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES On motion of Councilman Brooks, <br />seconded by Councilman Herrin, and <br />meeting of November 210, 1966 were approved8rried, Minutes of the Regular <br />DUMP TRUCK After hearing the Manager's report <br />that the low bidder, Santa Ana Dodge, <br />had could not meet the requirements, on notion of Council the City his equipment <br />by Councilman Herrin and carried, Council ordered filedreportoflkidscre- <br />ndel <br />ceived for Dump Truck,,24,000 GVW, Spec. 641-104; awarded contract to Inter- <br />national Harvester CompwW; and rejected all other bids. <br />SIGNAL PROJECT T-12 %" � On motion of Councilman McMiehael, <br />seconded by Councilman Gilmore <br />and carried, Council ordered filed <br />report of bide received for Signal Project T-12 - Fairhaven & Glassell; <br />awarded contract to Steiny & Mitchelis and rejected all other bids, <br />,f <br />11 AUTOMOBILES � `° �' <br />.Acting on the City Manager's <br />recommendation, on motion of Council - <br />Herrin and carried, the City Council ordered man Broofiled p seconded by Councilman <br />for 11 Automobiles for Police Patrol Spec. report of bids received <br />d <br />mobile to the contract; awarded contract to Monte PeteereeP another autor <br />rejected all other bids, Plymouth; and <br />7 AUTOMOBILES On action of Councilman Herrin,. <br />seconded by Councilman Burk and. <br />filed re carried, the City Council ordered <br />port of bids received for 7 Automobiles, unmarked for Police, Spec. <br />641-113; awarded contract to Monte Peters Plymouth; and rejected all other <br />bids. <br />3250 GPM PUMPER TRUCK g;�A <br />Acting on the City Manager's <br />recommendation, on motion of Council- <br />man Nark, seconded by Councilman <br />Brooks and carried, Council deferred to December 19, 1966 action on biAs <br />received for 1250 GPM P=per Truck for Fire Dept., Spec. 641-114, <br />Clam COUNCIL -79- December 5, 1966 <br />
