MINUTES OF TEE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE CITT COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />December 19, 1966 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 2:00 P.M. in the Council Chamber, 217 <br />N. Main Street. Roll Call Was a~swered by Co~ucilmen James Gilmore, Walter <br />B~ooks, Davis Burk, Wade Herrin, J. Ogden Markel, Tom McMichael and Mayor <br />Harry H. Harvey. Also present were City Manager Carl J. Thornton, Assistant <br />City Attorney Frank Lowrey, Director of Public Works Ronald Wolf oral, Director <br />of Planning Paul Van Stevens, and Assistant Clerk of the Council Maxine Vallery. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES On motion of Councilman McMichael, <br /> seconded by Councilman Nerrin and <br /> carried, Minutes of the Regular <br />Meeting of December 5, 1966 were approved. <br /> <br />PUMPER TRUCK After hearing a report from the City <br /> Manager that only one bid was received <br /> for the Pumper Truck, Spec. 641-114, <br />and that it was felt to be very reasonable, and also that a 1500 gallon <br />piece of equipment could be supplied at a reasonable additional cost to the <br />1250 gallon piece of equipment, on motion of Councilman ~rooks, seconded by <br />Councilman Mmrkel, and carried, the City Council awarded contract for a <br />1500 gallon Pumper Truck, Spec. 641-114, to Crowu Coach Corporation. <br /> <br />PROJECT 66-4 - CAMBRIDGE RESERVOiR On motion of Councilman Eerrin, <br />AND PUMPING STATION seconded by Councilman Markel and <br /> carried, Council ordered filed report <br />of bids received for Project 66-4 - Cambridge Reservoir amd Pumping Station; <br />awarded contract to J. Putnam Henck; and rejected all other bids. <br /> <br />POLICE AUTOMOBILES Acting on the City Manager's recom- <br /> mendation, on motion of Councilman <br /> B~ooks, seconded ~y Councilman Herrin <br />an~ carried, the request of Monte Peters to correct error in his l~w hid <br />on 11 automobiles (black and white) for Police Department, Spec. 6~1-112, <br />was denied° It was directed that additional automobile needed be added to <br />the 7 automobiles (unmarked)~ Spec. 6~1-113. <br /> <br />ORD. NS-863 ORDINANCE NS-863 CHANGING AND <br />WARD B0~ARIES ESTABLISHING TEE BOU~DAEY LINES 0F <br /> TEE WA~S OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />was read by title. It was moved by Co~ucilma~ Gilmore, seconded ~y <br />Councilman Herrin~ that further reading be waived and Ordinance NS-863 <br />be adopted.
