MINUTES OF 'i'n~ REGbrLAR MEETING <br /> OF THE CITY COUNCII~ <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />March 20, 1967 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 2:00 p.mo in the Council Chambers, 217 North <br />Main Street. Roll call was answered by Councilmen James Gilmore, Walter B~ooks, <br />Wade Herrin, J. Ogden Markel, Tcm McMichael and Mayor Harry Ho Harvey° Councilman <br />Davis Burk was absent during the afternoon session, but was present at the evening <br />session. Also present were City Manager Carl Jo Thornton, City Attorney William <br />L. Mock, Director of Public Works Ronald Wolford, Director of Planning Paul Van <br />Stevens, and Clerk of the Council Doris Mo Rrown~ <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />Meeting of March 6, 1967 were approved. <br /> <br />On Motion of Councilman McMichael, <br />seconded by Councilman Markel and <br />carried~ Minutes of the Regular <br /> <br />ROSITA PARK POOL CR ~?~; The City Manager presented a report <br /> of bids received for Project C-l~l- <br /> Rosita Park Pool and Building and <br />noted that a letter from the State Licensing Board verified license to perform <br />by the low bidder~ Nelson-Baird. It was moved by Councilman N~rkel, seconded <br />by Councilman Herrin and carried, that the report be ordered filed, the contract <br />be awarded to Nelson-Baird, and all other bids be rejected. <br /> <br />RESCUE VEHICLE CA ~% On motion of Councilman Brooks~ seconded <br /> by Councilman Markel and carried, Council <br /> ordered filed report of bids received <br />for One Vehicle for Fire Department use as Rescue Company, awarded contract to low <br />bidder~ International Harvester of Anaheim, with options of heavy duty rear springs, <br />52 ~?~ ~.lternator~ and 70 AMP hour battery for the total amount of $2,642°75, and <br />r~~, ~d all other bids. <br /> <br />ORD. NS-873~ HOLIDAY C6~%~% ORDINANCE NS-873 AMENDING SECTION <br /> ~ 2267 OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE <br /> TO INCLUDE NOVEMBER liTE AS AN <br />OFFICIAL HOLIDAY FOR CITY EMPLOY~R-q was read by title. It was moved by Councilman <br />Herrin, seconded by Councllm-~ McMichael~ that further reading be waived, and the <br />ordinance be adopted.
