MINUTES OF 'i'n~ REGbrLAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCII~ CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA March 20, 1967 The meeting was called to order at 2:00 p.mo in the Council Chambers, 217 North Main Street. Roll call was answered by Councilmen James Gilmore, Walter B~ooks, Wade Herrin, J. Ogden Markel, Tcm McMichael and Mayor Harry Ho Harvey° Councilman Davis Burk was absent during the afternoon session, but was present at the evening session. Also present were City Manager Carl Jo Thornton, City Attorney William L. Mock, Director of Public Works Ronald Wolford, Director of Planning Paul Van Stevens, and Clerk of the Council Doris Mo Rrown~ MINUTES Meeting of March 6, 1967 were approved. On Motion of Councilman McMichael, seconded by Councilman Markel and carried~ Minutes of the Regular ROSITA PARK POOL CR ~?~; The City Manager presented a report of bids received for Project C-l~l- Rosita Park Pool and Building and noted that a letter from the State Licensing Board verified license to perform by the low bidder~ Nelson-Baird. It was moved by Councilman N~rkel, seconded by Councilman Herrin and carried, that the report be ordered filed, the contract be awarded to Nelson-Baird, and all other bids be rejected. RESCUE VEHICLE CA ~% On motion of Councilman Brooks~ seconded by Councilman Markel and carried, Council ordered filed report of bids received for One Vehicle for Fire Department use as Rescue Company, awarded contract to low bidder~ International Harvester of Anaheim, with options of heavy duty rear springs, 52 ~?~ ~.lternator~ and 70 AMP hour battery for the total amount of $2,642°75, and r~~, ~d all other bids. ORD. NS-873~ HOLIDAY C6~%~% ORDINANCE NS-873 AMENDING SECTION ~ 2267 OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO INCLUDE NOVEMBER liTE AS AN OFFICIAL HOLIDAY FOR CITY EMPLOY~R-q was read by title. It was moved by Councilman Herrin, seconded by Councllm-~ McMichael~ that further reading be waived, and the ordinance be adopted.
