EXHIBIT A <br />Scope of Work <br />Annual Accomplishment Goal <br />I. Number of unduplicated Santa Ana residents to be served with grant funds during the 12- <br />month contract period = 76 PERSONS <br />II. Description of Work - in space below, describe the program to be funded during the 12-month contract <br />period including, services to be provided, program goals, client characteristics, & how grant funds will be utilized. <br />WHW serves low-income women who are actively seeking employment and may face many <br />barriers to employment. WHW works on a referral basis to serve all of Orange County to provide <br />professional clothing to women seeking employment and meet the HUD guidelines for extremely <br />low income. WHW's primary service, the Professional Clothes Closet Service, entails providing <br />clients with an extensive professional wardrobe to accommodate their employment goals and <br />needs with respect to job search, interviews, subsequent placement and job advancement. The list <br />of items provided includes: 10 items of business clothing, 2 pair of dress shoes, accessories, <br />makeup, undergarments, personal hygiene products, and complimentary hair dresser/styling <br />service. After securing employment, clients may obtain an additional 5 pieces of clothing as an <br />incentive/reward. This service is offered free of charge, year round in a nurturing environment <br />where staff and volunteers serve as personal image consultants. <br />Santa Ana CDBG funding will be utilized as a supplement the salaries for the following <br />positions: Program Coordinator, Bilingual Program Assistant, Volunteer Coordinator and <br />Receptionist.
