MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ~u~i~!NG <br />OF TNE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> September 18, 1967 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 2:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers, 217 <br />North Main Street. Boll call was answered by Councilmen Wade Herrin, Walter <br />B~ooks~ James E. Carlson, Lorin Griset, J. Ogden Markel~ Thomas W. Thurman <br />a~d Mayor Tom McMichael. Also present were City Manager Carl Jo Thornton, <br />City Attorney William Mock, Director of Public Works Ronald Wolford, Planning <br />Director Van Stevens, and Clerk of the Council Doris Mo Brown~ <br /> <br />MINUTES APPBOVAL Mrs o Janice Boer, Chairman of the <br /> Preperty 0waers Protective League, <br /> Inco~ protested minute wording that <br />a League statement on First Street was unsigned, submitted a paper containing <br />eight signatures of the Board of Directors of the League, and requested the <br />Clerk to add these signatures to the unsigned statement presented to Council <br />on September 5th. On motion of Councilman Griset~ seconded by Councilman <br />Herrin and carried, the paper containing the signatures was ordered filed° <br />The Clerk verified that the signatures were the same as the names typed on <br />the original statement. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Brooks~ seconded by Councilman Thurman and carried, <br />the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of September 5, 1967, were approved~ and <br />the Clerk was directed to attach the paper containing the signatures of the <br />Board of Directors of the Property Owners Protective League~ Inc. ~to the <br />statement received at the September 5th Council meeting~ <br /> <br />FAIRVIEW PROJECT 200 (II) Om motion of Counci3mm~ Herrin~ seconded <br /> by Couucilman Griset a~d carried~ Council <br /> approved plans and specifications and <br />authorized advertising for bids four Fairview Project 200 (II), Alton to <br />Segerstrom~ opening 10/10/67o <br /> <br />EQuIP~4E~Ff O~ motion of Councilma~ Griset~ seconded <br /> by Councilman Herrin am~ carrie~, author- <br /> ization was grmmted to advertise for bids <br />for the following, opening dates 10/~1/67: <br /> <br /> (1) 2 Door Selma, 1968 ~del~ ~pec~ 6~l-lR~ <br /> !
