13. <br /> <br />13.1 <br /> <br />13.2 <br /> <br />Any such new Participating Agency(s) or User(s) hereafter who shall <br />desire to become a party to this Agreement may do so by executing a copy <br />of this Agreement and assenting and agreeing to all of the terms, <br />conditions and buy-in and operational costs thereof. <br /> <br />Compensation may take the form of improvement or modification of <br />System or other contribution for the benefit of all Participating <br />Agencies/Users. <br /> <br />FUNDING <br /> <br />System Acquisition <br /> <br />During the acquisition period, the County will adopt an acquisition budget for the <br />acquisition of the System. The acquisition budget shall include the following: (a) <br />the System acquisition costs and (b) the allocation of costs among the <br />Participating Agencies in amounts necessary to cover the acquisition budget <br />items. <br /> <br />Attached hereto as Exhibit "A" is a list of all cities participating in the System, as <br />well as each city's responsible administrator. Exhibit "A" also includes the <br />County and the Orange County Fire Authority and responsible administrators. <br /> <br />Set forth in Exhibit "C" is each entity's estimated cost allocation for the initial <br />Law Enforcement System implementation including field equipment purchases <br />and installation. Exhibit "C" will be periodically updated to reflect any changed <br />equipment orders or authorized System modification expenses. <br /> <br />County shall provide to each responsible administrator, as indicated on Exhibit <br />"A," a quarterly financial report from the date of contract initiation for a period of <br />two (2) years after which the County shall provide financial reports semi-armually <br />for the remainder of this Agreement. <br /> <br />Payment <br /> <br />Exhibit "D" identifies each entity's estimated payments by fiscal year for the law <br />enforcement portion of the System. As part of the acquisition process of the <br />System, the County shall, within sixty (60) days of the effective date of this <br />Agreement, issue a final payment schedule. Total amounts will not exceed each <br />entity's full contribution for the System, as identified in Exhibit "C," unless an <br />entity adds equipment or modifications as authorized per sections 15 and 16. <br />Changes are subject to final approval by the Governance Committee. <br /> <br />CONTRACT/JTAGREE.DOC JM:skb 01/30/968:49AM Page II <br /> <br /> <br />
