0 <br />SCHEDULE C <br />Minimum Hardware Requirements <br />If you are using existing equipment or obtaining equipment from a third -party, you will need to meet <br />the following requirements: <br />Dataserver: <br />The minimum hardware specifications for the Library • Solution Dataserver are: Dual 1.8 <br />GHz/512K cache processors, 2 GB SDRAM, (2) NIC, (4) 36 GB SCSI 10,000 RPM 1" hard drives, <br />redundant power supply, PERC3-Di RAID enabler kit with 128 MB cache, mouse, keyboard, 24X <br />IDE CD-ROM drive, 3.5" 1.44 MB floppy drive, 56K internal PCI modem, monitor, DDS-4 tape <br />backup, Windows 2000 server software with 80 user licenses (required for technical services <br />stations only). <br />Technical Services Workstation: <br />The minimum hardware specifications for a Library• Solution Cataloging, Circulation, Serials or <br />Acquisitions workstation are Pentium 133 MHz, 64 MB RAM (128 MB recommended), 1 GB hard <br />drive, 3.5" diskette drive, 16X CD-ROM drive, standard keyboard, 14" SVGA monitor (with at least <br />800 X 600 pixels), mouse, Windows NT Workstation (v4.0) or Windows 2000. <br />Library • Solution Circulation is also available as a java-based application that can be run on <br />any station that supports a java-compatible browser. <br />Public Access Catalog Workstation: <br />A Library• Solution Public Access Catalog workstation requires a workstation capable of running a <br />graphical web browser, such as Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer. The Library <br />Corporation strongly recommends that all stations have a CD-ROM drive for software loading. <br />All stations require an Ethernet card and connection through the Ethernet network. <br />Serial scanners will not work with Windows NT. Library•Solution supports keyboard wedge <br />scanners. If the scanner is connected to the keyboard via a "Y" connector, it may be used. <br />Note: TLC will help you determine if your existing hardware can be used with Library•Solution <br />Library Contract Page 18 of 29 <br />
