MINU~ES OF ~E REGULAR MEETTNG <br />OF THE CIT~ COUNCIL OF THE <br />CI~ OF SALSA ANA, CAL~FORNIA <br /> <br />November 20, 1967 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 2:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers, <br />217 North Main Street with the following Councilmen present: Wade Nerrin, <br />Walter Brooks, Lorin Griset, J. Ogden Markel, Thomas W. Thurman, and Mayor <br />Tom McMichael. Councilman James E. Carlson was absent, but arrived later. <br />Also present were City Manager Carl J. Thornton, City Attorney William L. <br />Mock, Director of Public Works Ronald Wolford, Planning Director Van <br />Stevens, and Clerk of the Council Doris M. t~rown. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />6, 1967, were approved. <br /> <br />MOBILE RADIO UNITS <br /> <br />next meeting, on motion of Councilman M~rkel, <br />and carried. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Griset, seconded <br />by Councilman Markel and carried, the <br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting of November <br /> <br />At the request of the staff, award of <br />contract for 7 Mobile Radio Units, <br />Spec° 654-12, was held over to the <br /> seconded by Councilman Thurman <br /> <br />Councilman Carlson arrived at the meeting at 2:04 P.Mo <br /> <br />TRUCK BODIES' ~ ~ ~ ~ 0n motion of Councilman Griset, seconded <br /> by Councilman Herrin and carried, Council <br /> ordered filed report of bids received for <br />~ Service Bodies for Trucks, Spec. 6~1-128; awarded contract to the low bidder, <br />Jumbo Equipment Co. of California, Inc. at unit prices; and rejected all other <br />bids. <br /> <br />FIRE ALARM C0MPONEI~i'S C ~ On motion of Councilman Thurman, seconded <br /> by Councilman Herrin and carried, Council <br /> ordered filed report of bid received for <br />Fire Alarm Components, Spec. 631-109; and awarded contract to the only bidder, <br />Bliss-Gamewell. <br /> <br />SEWER PROJECT S-50(t~ %% On motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded <br /> by Councilman Griset and carried, Council <br /> approved plans and specifications and <br />authorized advertising for bids for Sewer Project S-50 in Flower, 8th, and <br />4th Streets, opening December 12, 1967. <br /> <br />READING WAIVED The full reading of ordinances and <br /> resolutions listed on the public agenda <br /> was waived on motion of Councilman <br />Griset, seconded by Councilman Herrin and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />CITY COUN~I~i ~ B23 November 20, 19~7 <br /> <br /> <br />
