NINUTES OF TEE REGULAR ~-rING <br />OF TNE CIT~ COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />January 15, 1968 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 2:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers, 217 North <br />Main Street with the following Councilmen present: Wade Herrin, Walter ~rooks, <br />James E. Carlson, Lorin Griset, J. Ogden Markel, Thomas W. Thurmam and Mayor <br />Tom McMichael. Also present were City Manager Carl Jo Thornton, City Attorney <br />William L. Mock, Director of ~ublic Works Ronald Wolford, Planning Director <br />Van Stevens, and Clerk of the Council Doris M. Brown. <br /> <br /> On motion of Councilman Nerrin, seconded <br /> by Councilman Griset ar~l carried, the <br /> City Council approved as submitted the <br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting of January 2, 1968. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION At 2:01 P.M. the City Council a~Journed to <br /> executive session for approximately one <br /> hour to discuss Advisory Board vacancies. <br />The Council reconvened at 3:05 P.M. with the same Councilmen present. <br /> <br /> C ~ ~f' <br />PROJECT C-160 On motion of Councilmau Carlson, seconded <br />RESTROOMS & RECREATION BUILDING by Councilman Griset, ~he City COuncil <br />AT PORTOLA PARK ordered filed report of bids received for <br /> Project C-160, Restronm% Recreation <br />Building, Walks and A.C. Paving at Portola Park; awarded contradt to the low <br />bidder, McKeehan & Montgomery General Contractors; and rejected all other bids. <br />On roll call vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSmxr: <br /> <br />Brooks, Carlson~ Griset, Markel, Thurm, n, McMichael <br />Herrin <br />None <br /> <br />PROJECT C-155 C~ w~ ~ <br /> On motion of Conncilm~u Griset, seconded <br />SPRINE?.~ S¥ST~ AT PORTOLA PARK by Councilman Carlson, Council ordered <br /> filed report of bids received for Project <br />C-155, Sprinkler System at Portola Park; awarded contract to the low bidder, <br />Irrigation Dy~-mics; and rejected all other bids.
