Number of unduplicated Santa Ana residents to be served with grant funds during the 12- <br />month contract period = 200 PERSONS <br />II. Description of Work - in space below, describe the program to be funded during the 12 -month contract <br />period including, services to be provided, program goals, client characteristics, & how grant funds will be utilized. <br />The TKO Boxing Club is designed to offer youtb -at -risk a cost -free after - school program that <br />teaches them how to establish goals and achieve those goals within a structured program. We <br />offer an average of 200 youths annually (average of 50 each night) a safe environment to <br />gather from 5 to 7 days a week. These youths might otherwise be targets for gang <br />recruitment. <br />Program requirements are: maintaining a C (preferably better) grade average, satisfactory <br />citizenship at school and in the community; satisfactory school attendance; and parental <br />involvement and cooperation. <br />TKO's objectives are: gang and drug abuse awareness; educational achievement; self - esteem <br />development and recreational services. <br />Funds will mostly be used to purchase badly -worn equipment and for traveling expenses to <br />competitions in and out of state. <br />Schedule of Performance <br />Estimate the number of unduplicated Santa Ana residents to be served during the 12 -month <br />contract period per quarter: <br />Quarter 1: July 1 — September 30 <br />100 <br />Persons <br />Quarter 2: October 1— December 31 <br />25 <br />Persons <br />Quarter 3: January 1— March 31 <br />50 <br />Persons <br />Quarter 4: April 1— June 30 <br />25 <br />Persons <br />Total <br />200 <br />Persons <br />Invoicing Schedule <br />Estimated the amount of grant funds to be requested during the 12 -month contract period on a <br />quarterly basis: <br />Quarter 1: July 1 — September 30 $ 51000 <br />Quarter 2 October 1 — December 31 $ 2.000 <br />Quarter 3: January 1 —March 31 $ Z,nm <br />Quarter 4: April 1— June 30 $ 5,000 <br />Total $ i.000. <br />Exhibit A <br />
