RESOLUTION NO. 2003-05 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT <br />AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> AMENDING ITS BY-LAWS <br /> <br /> THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, <br />determines and declares as follows: <br /> <br /> A. Resolution 81-109, dated October 26, 1981, contains and sets forth the main <br />text of the by-laws of the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana <br />("Agency"). Minor amendments have been adopted pursuant to Resolution 85-15 (dated <br />April 16, 1985) and Resolution 88-17 (dated November 22, 1988). <br /> <br /> B. The Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana now desires <br />to amend its by-laws to authorize the Executive Director to execute all legal documents <br />authorized by the Agency, to appoint the Clerk of the Council to act as the Recording <br />Secretary of the Agency, and to change the time and date of its regular meetings. <br /> <br /> C. Seven (7) days advance wdtten notice of said amendments has been given <br />to the members of said Agency by the Executive Director of the Agency; <br /> <br />Section 2. Article II, Section 3 of the by-laws of the Community Redevelopment <br />Agency is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Article II, Section 3, "Duties of the Chairman" <br /> <br /> The chairman shall preside at all meetings of the Agency. At each <br />meeting, the chairman shall submit such recommendations and information <br />as he/she may consider proPer concerning the business, affairs, and policies <br />of the Agency. The Executive Director of the Agency is hereby authorized to <br />sign all legal documents on behalf of the Agency, including, but not limited to <br />deeds and contracts, authorized by the Agency." <br /> <br />.Section 3. Article II, Section 7 of the by-laws of the Community Redevelopment Agency <br />is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
