Scope of Work <br />Second Contract Amendment to One Broadway Plaza EIR <br />Task A: Preparation and Public Distribution of the Draft EIR <br />The activities conducted for this task are: <br />■ Consultation, meeting and discussion with City staff regarding final revisions to the EIR. <br />■ Preparation of the EIR for public distribution — final text revisions, word processing and <br />quality control review. <br />■ Reproduction of the screencheck EIR for use by City staff. <br />■ Reproduction of the screencheck EIR for public distribution to the project distribution list <br />and to the neighbor groups. <br />• Distribution of the Draft EIR to the project distribution list by United States mail and courier <br />(the least expensive option was used, as appropriate). <br />Task B: Preparation for and Attendance at Public Meetings <br />The activities anticipated for this task are: <br />■ Consultation, discussion and meetings with City staff regarding the format and conduct of <br />the public meetings, including the types of graphics and handouts for those meetings. <br />■ Preparation of one handout for use at the meetings to include the project description, the <br />project mitigation measures and a form for submitting written comments on the Draft EIR to <br />the City. <br />• Preparation of graphics on display boards for the public meetings — this assumes the <br />preparation of a total of eight display boards. <br />■ Preparation for and attendance at the following public meetings: <br />• Two neighborhood meetings: Project Manager, Traffic Manager and Staff person. <br />• One Historical Commission meeting: Traffic Manager. <br />■ One Planning Commission meeting: Project Manager and Traffic Manager. <br />• One Santa Ana Business Association meeting: Project Manager and Traffic Manager. <br />• Reproduction of handouts for the public meetings — handout is assumed to be no more <br />than 30 pages, 100 copies, stapled. <br />TOTAL COST: $30,000 <br />EXHIBIT A-1 <br />U:\DBott\wp5l\Reports\2amendinentscope.doc Page 2 <br />August 14, 2003 <br />
