MINUTES OF THE REGUL~ MEETIN~ OF T"~ CIT~ C~CIL:OF THE OIT~ OF SA]~A AMA, CALI_FORNI. A August 5, 1~ The meetimg was called to order at 2:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers, 217 North Maim Street with the following Councilmen present: Wade Herrin, Walter Brooks, James E. Carlson, Lorin Griset, J. Ogden Markel, Thomas W. Thurmam, and Mayor Trna McMichael. Also present were City ~anager Carl J. Thornton, Assistant City Attorney James Withers, Director of Public Works Renald Wolferd, Planning Director Van Stevens, and Clerk of the Council Doris M. Brew~. MI~JTES 1968, were approved as submitted. On motion of Councilman Brooks, seconded by Councilman Herrin amd carried, the Minu~es of the Regular Meeting of July 15, EXECUTi~JE SESSION At 2:02 P.M., the City Council adjourned tO executive session for approximately one-half hour ~o disc~s a personnel matter. The Council reconvened at 2:58 P.M. with all Councilmen presemt.
