We have completed numerous trans- portation projects for local agencies, including the Cities of Santa Ana, Tustin, Fullerton, Orange, Carson, and Los Angeles. Due to DMJM+HARRIS' history of successfully com- pleting transportation projects throughout California, we are extremely knowledgeable of lecal agency standards and procedures. In addition, we are committed to our clients and approach every project with a thorough un- derstanding of the project requirements and a commitment to fulfill those requirements beyond expectations. Credentials DMJM+HARRIS has the technical capabilities and depth of staff to perform on the Engineering and Landscaping Design Services contract identified by the City in the RFP. DMJM+HARRIS' strengths important to your project needs include design and construction management on arterials, local sUeets, bridges, mechanical, electrical and building structural engineering. These services have included: · Roadway/Street Design · Traffic Studies Signing, Striping and Lighting Facilities Architecture Traffic Maintenance/Control · Plan Check Coordination Utility Coordination/Relocali on · Storm Drain Improvements Permitting with State and Local Agencies · Sidewalks, Curbs and Gutter Replacement · Hydrological Services Paving Storm Water Pollution Prevention · Cost Estimates · Construction Management and Inspection DMJM+HARRIS will be assisted by three highly qualified consultants, Leighton & Associates, Inc., Coast Surveying, Inc., and Lynn Capouya, Inc. to provide geotechnical, survey and landscape design ser- vices, respectively. Each of these firms are experienced in local agency projects and have worked on projects w/thin the City of Santa Ant. Leighton & Associates provides geotechnical investiga- tion, testing, analysis and mitigation in support of design and construction projects in Orange and San Diego counties. For the SR-91 Widening and Bridge Upgrades from Serfas Club Drive to the Orange County line on SR-91, L~ighmn performed investigations covering approximately 4.0-a:miles of the 24-mile project. As lead geotechnical consultant to Pepperdine University, Leighton has supported the development and expansion of the campus for 25 years. Leighton has also performed geologic, seismic and geotechnical analysis, and evaluated the foundation design for the landmark Emerald Plaza Wyndham Hotel and Office Towers in downtown San Diego. Coast Surveying, Inc., is a local surveying firm that serves as a leading provider of land and hydrographic surveying, aerial photogrammetric mapping, geographic information systems, construction staking, and related services. DMJM+HARRIS has a close working relation- ship with Ruel del Castillo, who will provide survey and mapping services on this project. Lynn Capouya, Inc. is a woman-owned full-service land- scape architectural firm founded in 1979. Ms. Capouya provides individualized quality service to a broad range of clients in the private and public sectors. LCI's full service capabilities include site evaluation and planning, landscape surveys and preservation, irrigation and plant material selection. DMJM+HARRIS has worked closely with Lynn Capouya on several recent projects including the Highland Avenue Grade Separation for the City of Fullerton, and SR-55 for OCTA. In addition to these three subconsultants DMJM+HARRIS will augment our capabilities as necessary with additional specialty subconsuttants. The DMJM+HARRIS team stands ready to work as an extension of the City's staff to deliver design engineering, landscape and plan checking services on an as-needed basis. Project Experience DMJM+HARRIS' past performance for completing projects on time has been excellent. Over 70% of DMJM+HARRIS' projects are from repeat clients. We feel this would not be possible unless we presented our clients with a project completed within required time limits and restrictive budgetary guidelines.
