SOLICITATION APPLICATIONS <br /> <br />approved: <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Griset, seconded <br />by Councilman Herrin and carried, the <br />following Solicitation Applications were <br /> <br />Anaheim Kiwi Club, soliciting door prizes for Fashion Show, proceeds <br />to be donated to Services for the Blind, January & February, 1969. <br /> <br />Missions International, collecting discarded items and selling them, <br />February 4 - April 4, 1969. <br /> <br />Request from Camp Fire Girls for one week extension of time on their <br />application for Annual Nut Sale- approved by Council on 8/5/68 for <br />Jan. 15- Feb. 3, 1969. <br /> <br />Girls Club of Garden Grove, candy sale, Jan. 31 - Feb. 15, 1969. <br /> <br />BOND RELEASES Acting on the Public V~orks Director's <br /> report of satisfactory completion of <br /> improvements, on motion of Councilman <br />Griset, seconded by Councilman Herrin and carried, Council authorized <br />release of bonds for the following: <br /> <br />Tract 6594, Ritchey and Occidental; <br />Tract 6631, Ritchey and Pomona. <br /> <br />REIMBURSEMENTS <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded <br />by Councilman Griset and carried, the <br />following reimbursements were approved: <br /> <br />$9, 171.98 to Barbara Tucker Lashbrook and James B. Tucker for street <br />improvements on south side of 17th west of Parton. <br /> <br />$3,702.22 to Josan Investment Company for street improvements on <br />east side of Harbor near Kent. <br /> <br />RECESS <br /> <br />At 8:45 P.M., a five minute recess was <br />declared. The Council reconvened at <br />8:50 P.M. with all Council members present. <br /> <br />PARKING RESTRICTIONS Council considered a report on request <br /> for peak hour parking restrictions on <br /> 4th Street between Grand and Lyon. The <br />staff presented a video tape depicting the traffic on 4th Street during peak <br />hours between Grand Avenue and the Santa Ana Freeway. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 69-25 RESTRICTING PARKING ON FOURTH STREET ON THE <br />NORTH SIDE FROM GRAND AVENUE TO LYON STREET AND ON THE <br />SOUTH SIDE FROM McCLAY STREET TO LYON STREET EXCEPT ON <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />122 <br /> <br />February 3, 1969 <br /> <br /> <br />
