MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SANTA ANAo CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />March 3, 1969 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at .2:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers, <br />217 North Main Street with the following Councilmen present: Wade Herrin, <br />Walter Brooks,. J, Ogden Markel, Thomas W. Thurman, and Mayor Tom <br />McMichael. Councilmen James E. Carlson and Lorin Griset were absent, <br />but arrived later. Also present were City Manager Carl J. Thornton, <br />City Attorney William L. Mock, Director of Public Works Ronald Wolford, <br />Director of Planning Van Stevens, and Clerk of the Council Maxine B. Vallery. <br /> <br />MINUTES On motion of Councilman Brooks, <br /> seconded by Councilman Herrin and <br /> carried, the Minutes of the Adjourned <br />Regular Meeting of February 17, 1969 and the Minutes of the Regular Meeting <br />of February 17, 1969, were approved as submitted. <br /> <br />CIVIC DAY <br /> <br />Mayor McMichael welcomed the De Molay <br />members present at the Council meeting <br />participating in De Molay Civic Day. <br /> <br />READING WAIVED The full reading of ordinances and <br /> resolutions, the titles of which appeared <br /> on the public agenda, was waived, on <br />motion of Councilman I-Ierrin, seconded by Councilman Brooks and carried. <br /> <br />ORD. NS-957 - A.A. 637 ORDINANCE NS-957 CHANGING <br />HALL-LYON-HALL, LTD. DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON <br /> AMENDMENT APPLICATION 637 <br />FILED BY HALL-LYON-HALL, LTD., AND AMENDING SECTIONAL <br />DISTRICT MAP 3-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 637 A) (west side of Fairview <br />approximately 280 feet north of 17th) was adopted, on motion of Councilman <br />Herrin, seconded by Councilman Markel. <br /> <br />AYES: Herrin, Brooks, Markel, Thurman, McMichael <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Carlson, Griset <br /> <br />Councilman Griset arrived at the meeting at 2:07 P.
