AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Brooks, Patterson, Villa, Herrin <br />Markel <br />Thurman, Griset <br /> <br />RES. 69-97 - DEEDS, NO CASH RESOLUTION 69-97 ACCEPTING DEEDS <br /> FOR WHICH THE CITY IS PAYING NO <br /> CASH CONSIDERATION (Salvation Army, <br />Ledda, Morris, Barrios, Ontiveros, Turner) was adopted, on motion of Council <br />man Patterson, seconded by Councilman Villa and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT - ENCROACHMENT Execution by the Vice Mayor of an Agree- <br /> ment between the City and Betty Jones, dba <br /> South American Aquarium and Mae and <br />George Pickelheimer, to permit an encroaching sign at 1114 North Harbor Blvd. <br />was authorized, on motion of Councilman Brooks, seconded by Councilman <br />Patterson and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT - SIGNAL Execution by the Vice Mayor of an Agree- <br />INSTALLATION ment between the City and the State of <br /> California for signal installation at the <br />intersection of McFadden Avenue and Tustin Village Way was authorized, on <br />motion of Councilman Brooks, seconded by Councilman Markel and unanimously <br />carried. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT Execution by the Vice Mayor of an Agree- <br />BUILDING CONSTRUCTION merit between the City and Comet, Inc., <br /> Prime Contractors, Inc., V. B. F., and <br />Andrew P. Litschi, for construction of building at 2700 North Main Street, was <br />authorized, on motion of Councilman Brooks, seconded by Councilman Patterson, <br />on the following roll call vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOE S: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Brooks, Patterson, Villa, Herrin <br />Markel <br />Thurman, Griset <br /> <br />Prior to the vote on the above motion, in response to an inquiry by Councilman <br />Markel, the Planning Director explained that the necessity for the agreement <br />had nothing to do with the extension o! Memory Lane; that it was necessary <br />because the builder does not own the property on which his parking is being placed <br />and because of the distande of the building from the property line on which the <br />building is going, which property is owned by the builder. <br /> <br />ACCOUNTANTS' REPORT The Accountants' Report filed by Diehl, <br /> Evans and Company, independent auditors, <br /> for quarter ending March 31, 1969, was <br />ordered filed, on motion of Councilman MarkeL seconded by Councilman Brooks <br />and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />FIESTA SITE <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Brooks, seconded <br />by Councilman Patterson and carried, the <br />request from the Centennial Fiesta Committee <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />- 242 - June 16, 1969 <br /> <br /> <br />
