<br />" <br /> <br />RECITALS <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The parties hereto entered into Agreement of Maintenance of State Highway Planting in <br />the City of Santa Ana on November 18, 1996. Said Agreement defined the teITnS and <br />conditions applicable to the City when maintaining landscaped areas within State <br />Highway right of way at the Intersection of State Route 5 at Santa Ana Blvd and Grand <br />Avenue, 17th Street and Penn Way, and Main Street all as shown on Exhibit "A" to that <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />The purpose of this Amendment to Agreement is to clarify that ST ATE will provide <br />appropriate traffic closures for the CITY to maintain the vines along the Broadway SB <br />off-ramp when requested. <br /> <br />IT IS THEREFORE MUTUALLY AGREED: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />ST ATE will provide appropriate lane closures to assist CITY in maintaining the vines <br />planted along the Broadway SB off-ramp after CITY has provided a written request for <br />those services at least ten (10) business days in advance of work being done. Said CITY <br />request shall be delivered to STATE at fax No. (714) 288-8586. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />All other teITnS and conditions of said Agreement shall remain in full force and effect. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />This Amendment A-I to Agreement is hereby deemed to be a part of the Landscaping <br />Maintenance Agreement. <br />
