DRINKGERN AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP <br />6-5-9 (EXHIBIT A.A. 647-A) (rezoning proper~y on east side of Glassell <br />between Fairhaven and Santa Clara from the A 1 District to the R 4 District) <br />was passed to second reading, on motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded <br />by Councilman Villa and unanimouslY carried. <br /> <br />RES. 69-107 - CONDEMNATION RESOLUTION 69-107 AUTHORIZING CON- <br /> DEMNATION OF EASEMENTS FOR <br /> STREET PURPOSES ON THE WEST SIDE <br />OF 1VLAIN STREET, SOUTH OF WARNER AVENUE was adopted, on motion <br />of Councilman Herrin, seconded by Councilman Villa and unanimously <br />carried. <br /> <br />Due to a conflict of inter~st on the next item, Councilman Thurman left the <br />Council Chambers. <br /> <br />RES. 69-108 - VA 69-24 RESOLUTION 69-108 AFFIRMING THE ~-~ <br />BELL, WHINERY DECISION OF TI-I~ PLANNING COMMISSION ~ <br /> AND DENYING VARIANCE ON APPLICATION <br />NO. V. A. 69-24, FILED BY RALPH A. BELL AND JESS L. WHINERY was <br />considered by the City Council. <br /> <br />Councilman Markel stated that he was not in favor of adopting this resolution; <br />he felt the project was very deserving and would be a considerable im- <br />provement to the property.
