For some youth, this process may take <br />more time, more instruction and assistance from staff. <br />The Career Explorers Club is made up of approximately 24 sessions, each <br />approximately 60- minutes long. Participants will attend three times each week. <br />Summer employment participants will work 20 hours a week for ten weeks. In <br />addition, participants will simultaneously attend Job Ready/Career Launch <br />training, resulting In an additional three hours of training for six to eight weeks. <br />Work experience participants will spend 10 hours a week for five weeks "on the <br />job." Participants will have already successfully completed Job Ready /Career <br />Launch or the Career Explorers Club training. <br />Office Smart participants will also have successfully completed either Job <br />Ready/Career Launch or the Career Explorers Club training. Office Smart <br />training will take place in two 60- minutes sessions a week for six weeks. <br />Program elements will be conducted during mornings, afternoons, evenings, and <br />on Saturday. <br />What is the ratio of adult interaction to WIA participant? <br />A maximum ratio of 12 youth to 1 staff will be observed throughout the duration <br />of each program component. <br />What is the frequency of adult interaction with WIA participant? <br />The frequency of adult interaction varies by program component and individual <br />participant needs. As mentioned previously, some youth need additional <br />instruction in order to positively complete programs.
