B. Procedures at the State Level <br />The complainant may appeal to the State if he/she is not satisfied with the <br />decision of the Santa Ana LWIA. <br />The Complainant must file his/her appeal as a request for review directly with <br />the Chief WID within ten (10) calendar days after the receipt of the Santa Ana <br />LWIA's decision. <br />The Chief-WID, shall issue a decision no later than thirty (30) calendar days <br />after receipt of the request for review. <br />4. After the complainant has received a decision or no decision has been <br />received from the Director of Employment Development Department (on <br />behalf of the Governor), the complainant has the right to appeal his/her <br />complaint within thirty (30) calendar days to the Office of Civil Rights (OCR) <br />with the Department of Labor. <br />17 <br />
