~ AMENDMENT NOIO,~.:I TO COOPERATIVE <br />'PROJECTS PROGRA~C~0NTRACT NO. 0016 <br /> <br /> THIS AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO COOPERA'I'IVE PROJECTS PROGRAM <br />CONTRACT NO. 0016, is made and entered into, to be effective thi~__~day of <br />_,.~.~, 2002, by and between: <br /> ORANGE COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT, <br /> hereinafter referred to as "District" <br /> <br /> AND CITY OF SANTA ANA, <br /> hereinafter referred to as "Agency". <br /> <br /> RECITALS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 6, 2000, District entered into a Cooperative <br />Projects Program Contract ("Original Contract") with Agency, in connection with <br />District's Cooperative Projects Program; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the term of the Contract is from the date of contract execution <br />by both parties, through completion of the project, or February 20, 2002, <br />whichever occurs first; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Original Contract with Agency will expire prior to the <br />project's completion; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, District and Agency desire to extend the term of the Original <br />Contract for an additional six (6) months, in order to allow Agency to satisfy all <br />terms and conditions of the Original Contract, and other unanticipated delays to <br />its project. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing, it is agreed <br />between the Parties hereto as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
